About Me

Hello! My name is Adaline Lathrop. I am an artist, teacher, college instructor, business owner, and lover of books! I was born and raised in Downey, CA. I loved growing up in Southern California. As an adult, I worked for Los Angeles Unified School District, where I taught kindergarten for 4 years.

In 2018 I moved to Salem, OR where my mom and I started a cosmetics company. It had always been our dream to create cosmetics and after two years of working toward that dream, we finally launched in 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. While I loved running our business, I also missed the classroom. In 2021, I started a position as a high school library media and instructional assistant, while going back to school with the goal of completing a graphic design degree.

In February of 2023, I finished my Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design and Media Arts from Southern New Hampshire University. I hope to continue working in education as well as using my graphic design knowledge to work as a freelance designer.
